Fuel Cost Recovery 2026 Employer Guide now available
The Road Transport Contractual Chain Order – Fuel Cost Recovery – 2026 commenced on 21 April.
The Order responds to sharp fuel price increases caused by disruption to global supply chains linked to the conflict in the Middle East. Its primary purpose is to ensure fuel cost increases are recoverable across the road transport contractual chain.
The changes impose new obligations on many Australian businesses.
To assist, ACCI and the TCCI have prepared a concise Employer Guide explaining what the Order requires and how to comply, with practical examples.
